Couve Culture Weekender: Mar 20 - Mar 23

It's Thursday, the 20th of March in the Couve.
Hey Couve folks! Spring is officially here, and our city is bursting with exciting events this weekend. I'm heading to Seaside with the family for a quick getaway (beach walks and saltwater taffy, here I come!), but there's so much happening around town that I'm almost sad to miss it all. From flight deals to Athens to Indigenous art markets to rock legends, this newsletter is packed with options for your weekend adventures.
As always, we'd love your feedback on what you'd like to see in future editions.
The Couve Card.

I've got a little something cooking that might make your wallet and taste buds equally happy. I'm thinking about launching the "Couve Card" - a discount card that would hook you up with deals at 10 local restaurants around Vancouver.
Before I go all-in on this delicious scheme, I want to know if you'd actually use it. Because honestly, what's the point of me putting in all this effort if you're just going to stick with your sad desk lunches?
So click on the poll below and let me know: Would a local restaurant discount card be something you'd actually use? Or will it join the graveyard of unused gift cards in your junk drawer? Also, let me know what restaurants you would like to see on the card, the one above is just a mockup. Your feedback will determine whether this idea lives or dies.
Are you interested in the couve card? |
What's in store for this weekend:
Spring Equinox Native Art Market featuring 16 local Indigenous artists
Rocky Horror Picture Show with live shadow cast at Kiggins Theatre
Couve Clover Run along Vancouver's scenic waterfront
QUIET RIOT playing free at ilani Casino
Wine Education Series at Amavi Cellars for aspiring sommeliers

I took the Concert Calendar off of the newsletter because things were getting too long but reply and let me know if you want it back.
That's it for this week! While I'm off building sandcastles (or more likely, hiding from the rain in a coffee shop), I hope you all find something awesome to do around the Couve. As always, let me know what events I might have missed, and please share your thoughts on whether real estate listings would be a helpful addition to future newsletters. See you next week!
